PREGNANT YouTube star Nicole Thea suffered a suspected heart attack and did not die while giving birth, her family said today.

Nicole, 24, died at her home in Hexborough, Yorkshire, on Saturday morning after telling her partner Global Boga that she was suffering from chest and back pains.

The star, who had 106,000 subscribers on the video platform, was eight months pregnant with her son Reign who also tragically passed away.

She had been struggling to breathe in the weeks before her death and had told her followers that she felt like something was killing her from inside.

Her uncle Charles Murray told the Mail Online that the family believe Nicole suffered a “massive heart attack”.

He said: “From what I heard at the moment, we think she had a massive heart attack.

“It is so surreal as she was so young. It is such a shock. It has really, really shaken us all up.”

Mr Murray said his niece, who was a dancer, was fit and healthy and had no underlying health issues.

Nicole had regularly updated her quarter of a million social media followers on preparations for the arrival of her baby.

Nicole’s heartbroken mum confirmed the double tragedy on Sunday, saying “our hearts are truly broken”.

No cause of death was revealed in the post.

However the Metro Online reported that Nicole did not die during childbirth.

And a friend told The Mirror that claims on social media she died in labour are “incorrect”.

In the post written on Instagram, Nicole’s mum Samantha said: “To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and [partner] Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.

“Nicole [had] pre-scheduled a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.

“As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.

“Thank you her mum RIP.

“My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign.

“I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven.”

Her family declined to comment further when approached by The Sun Online.
